Police Public meetings held in Handwara | KNO

Srinagar, December 25 (KNO) : On the directions of SSP Handwara Shri Ghulam Jeelani Wani, Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meetings were held at Police posts Langate and Chogul. In Langate, a PCPG meet was chaired by DySP(ops) Shri Tariq Mehmood accompanied by Incharge Police Post Langate Shri Jhon Mohd and SI Reyaz Ahmed. The meeting was attended by large number of people including representatives of all the villages falling in the Jurisdiction of Police Post Langate. Many social issues were discussed in the meeting. In Chogul, a PCPG meet was chaired by DO Chougul Shri Mohd Sadiq which was attended by number of respectable citizens of Chogul area and other civil society members. The participants highlighted various issues of public importance. Matters regarding to development in the area were also discussed. The participants further assured their full support & cooperation in fighting social crimes. The officers assured them that issues pertaining to Police will be solved in shortest possible time and the rest will be taken up with civil administration for their redressal.(KNO)
